About Samudra Life

Samudra is Sanskrit for ‘On or by the water’ and is run by Beverley Glock

Beverley has practised yoga for 25 years and has been paddleboarding for 10 years.  She is a qualified BSUPA SUP instructor with RYA First Aid certification, a long distance open water swimmer, competitive gig rower and windsurfer. She tap-dances a bit when she gets the opportunity. Beverley graduated with Yoga Alliance 200 hours Hatha, Art of Adjustments, Paddleboard Yoga and Yoga for Menopause from The Academy for Yoga Training, Bath. She is a hands on teacher but happy to be hands off if her clients wish that.

Beverley taught in Germany, just south of Munich on Lake Starnberg before moving to Lyme Regis and is the Mum of three grown up children and a black labrador. Her philosophy is that yoga should be available to everyone, young or old, no-one can be ‘good’ at yoga as everyone’s body is different.  You do what you can, within your limitations, in a safe space to achieve inner calmness that will help you mentally and physically.

Beverley teaches in and around Lyme Regis, either within sight of the sea, on the sea for SUP yoga or in the glorious Devon countryside, connecting you with nature through yoga and breath work.
